It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Luisa Tantalo (nee Palozzi) on January 18, 2026, at Humber River Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 90. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Francesco. Loving mother of Victor (Fern), Lucy (Ignazio), and Leo (Angela). Proud Nonna of Franco, Sara, Adriana, Lorenzo, Michael, Cristina, and Gianni and cherished Bisnonna of Joseph, Natalie, Victoria, Nicholas, Daniela, Lucas, Sebastian, and Frank. Luisa will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

My heartfelt condolences to you Leo, Angela, Cristina and Gianni. My prayers are with you all during this very sad and difficult period. I always loved talking to your mom Leo during celebrations. She was always so kind and welcoming. She will be greatly missed by us all but her love and stories will continue to live with us. God bless. Love Joanne and Clara.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother.
It is never easy losing a parent no matter how old we are. I still think of my mother and father every day with fondness and love. You will too in the beautiful memories that you shared with Luisa. You lost a mother and Cristina and Gianni lost a beloved Nonna. You will find strength in each other and find peace in talking and remembering all those wonderful moments you had together.
