My condolences from all of my family to you! I loved your mom. One of the sweetest Tequila loving ladies I’ve ever known(if you know, you know) she made wicked Omelettes too
That’s so sweet Mandy. Thank you! ❤️
I will never forget the times we spent tinkering in the garden and prepping food for a glorious lunch or dinner. You’ve given me the life long love for plants, animals, and food.
My soon to be daughter will be forever greatful for knowledge you handed down to me.
I Love You Grandma
Kyle
So beautiful Kyle. ❤️ she’ll be watching from the heaven garden.
Mom, thank you for always loving me and guiding me. Even though you are no longer here with me I can still feel your love guiding me. I am grateful for everything you gave to me. I will carry you in my heart for today and for always. Love you and miss you.
My Mommy,
I wish you could have waited just one more day!
I’m very sorry I wasn’t there!
I wanted to be.
My heart hurts.
I miss you!
I love you!
Sleep well!
My dear friend..how I wish I could be there just to hold your hand through all of it. I have the sweetest memory of your mother ..she was so welcoming. I met her once and right away …loved the food ..loved the sweets …loved her. She gave me the biggest gift “you” as a best friend ever. So thank you Mrs. Martins, I am sure a lot of love is waiting for you…
Awww, Sylvia that’s so sweet my friend. Thank you ❤️
Here is a woman who lived her whole life for the good of others
Dear Elizabeth,
This is Ji.
I was on vacation and just saw your message today.
I am so sorry to hear about Lurdes’s passing. I am truly shocked and deeply saddened, and I can only imagine how painful this must be for you. It’s hard to believe that I won’t see her again. I will always remember her beautiful smile and the warmth in her eyes.
I know, without a doubt, how deeply you loved her. Your care and devotion were so evident, and you were truly incredible. Please don’t let the sadness overwhelm you—Lurdes would want you to remember her with love and warmth in your heart.
Her gentle soul will always remain with me. My deepest condolences to you, and your entire family.
May Lurdes rest in peace.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Ji
p.s.I work casually at Westbury and visit a few times each month. When I stop by next week, I’ll make sure to visit the 8th floor and share a moment with the staff during this difficult time.
My grandmother was a tough cookie. She taught me what it means to persevere through the difficult times in life and still come away smiling. I always admired her positivity and her infectious laughter.
As a kid, I would look forward to our visits in the summer. There was always an adventure to be had on the farm. I learned so much just watching her work tirelessly. She fostered a love in me for nature and animals. It’s my dream to one day have a little homestead like she did and raise my own animals and grow my own food.
Thank you, grandma for inspiring me and for your deep caring and kindness. Love you always.

Thank you Cathy. 😍
My favorite Godmother 😅 and only the best one. Always had a smile for everyone she met. She would give the last crumb on the table. Biggest heart. I will remember the good times. Rest in peace Tia Loures!
Thank you Albert.
I remember Grandma visiting me at home, and she would always be so happy to see me. Even though I couldn’t speak Portuguese she would try to communicate with me through my dad every time I saw her. The love she showed me and made me feel wont be forgotten. Rest easy Grandma.
Awww, so sweet Nate! Granda thought you were so handsome and a wonderful person. ❤️
