Lynda Gillis-Bate passed away on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023, at Sunnybrook Hospital in her 74th year. Beloved mother to Christopher Bate, Kourtney Perkauskas, the late Sean Bate, Andrea Bate, and her partner Lianne Kula. Cherished sister to Michael Gillis, Lois Gillis, Elaine, and Robert Citter. Eldest daughter to her mother Audrey Gillis and the late John Michael Gillis. Loving Aunt to Olivia Citter, Remi, and Emerson Shen. The family would like to thank Sunnybrook Hospital and their wonderful medical healthcare team with special thanks to Dr. Kupets.

Lynda was a beautiful person inside and out. It was such a pleasure to get to know her and have celebrations together. Celebrating our wonderful girls engagement will always be one of myself most cherished memories. Celebrating with Lynda and her family was the highlight!! She will be missed by all of us, may she rest in peace and know how much she was loved.
