elevated vEvsl God called Madalena Soares peacefully on June 25, 2024 at the age of 93. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband José and son José Antonio. Cherished by her dear children Maria, Madalena (Tony), Estrela (Bobby), Margaret (Carlos), John (Sue), Marci (Brock), Ana (Alex), Louisa (Paul) and daughter-in-law Alda. Proud avó to 20 grandchildren and bisavó to 11 great grandchildren. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and friends.

Prima Madalena was a wonderful cousin and great neighbour when we lived on Major Street. We loved and continue to love the Sousa family and the great sense of community we all shared.
