Obituary
It is with sadness that we announce our dear Manuel (Manny) passed away in Newmarket with family by his side at the age of 70. He was born in Pico, Azores, to Manuel and Delfina Vieira (nee Batista).
elevated fM3hB Loving partner to Tina Fabbri of 13 wonderful years. Loving father to Sarah, Chris; Step father to Keith (Clifford), Sabrina (Victor) and Ross (Claudia). Cherished grandfather to Chris, Sophia, Emma, Gianluca and Stefano. He is also survived by his siblings Johnny (Kathleen), Lucy (Rolando), Maria and Davey.
elevated fM3hB Manny’s life was one filled with love for his family, his many friends and for those whose lives he touched. A master of carpentry, Manny took great pride in his work, whether it was fixing a leaky faucet or constructing beautiful custom furniture. He was known for his attention to detail and commitment to quality and approached every project with passion and creativity.
elevated fM3hB Manny had a deep connection to music. Whether it was strumming a guitar, listening to his favorite classic rock band or singing his heart out, he found solace and joy in every note. His love for music inspired many and will be remembered by all that knew him. Manny also had a deep knowledge and passion for history in which he provided history lessons to many of his friends and family. This will be cherished in our hearts.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of my dear friend Manny Vieira.
Manny was a dedicated father who made it a priority to pick up his children every weekend, showing his love and commitment to his family.
I also had the privilege of seeing his craftsmanship firsthand—he worked with such passion and precision, always striving for perfection. Those days when he’d come to work in high spirits, his enthusiasm for what he did was truly contagious, and I’ll always remember that time with fondness. While I am comforted knowing that he’s free from the pain of his battle with cancer, his presence will be greatly missed.
May he rest peacefully and transition to his new life with ease. Rest well, Manny. You will always be remembered.
Chris, I was deeply saddened to hear of Manny’s passing. While I didn’t have the opportunity to know him personally, his influence is clear in the strength, discipline, and loyalty you embody. This loss is profound, and I extend my sincerest condolences to you and your family. Know that I am here, steady and resolute, should you need anything. May Manny’s legacy remain a testament to a life led with purpose and respect.
May he rest in peace. He is loved by his family and friends and I am honored to have met him and his family through my husband Keith.
