Margaret Mary (Peggy) peacefully passed away on Saturday November 26th at the Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 91. Peggy was the beloved wife of the late Russell Duggan for 65 years. Loving mother of Gailanne, the late Kathy and Gerard as well as grandmother to many grandchildren. Peggy was the adoring sister of her brothers, the late James, Michael, John, Patrick. Peggy is survived by her brother Anthony and sisters, Theresa and Joan.
elevated yUHhS Peggy was an affectionate Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Thank you to Peggy’s Greek family, the Kakaltris, who have truly been a blessing to Peggy and Russ over the many years of friendship. Thank you to her loving friends, Angela, JoJo and Dorine for their kindness and support of Peggy over the years.
elevated yUHhS Russ and Peggy enjoyed a long and exciting life together. They were 5-pin bowlers for numerous years and were the first husband and wife to be asked into the 5-pin Masters in Toronto. In addition to the many awards achieved in 5-pin bowling, both Peggy and Russ were championship roller skate dancers. She was an avid outdoors person who enjoyed playing golf and going to the cottage on weekends.
elevated yUHhS Peggy was an incredibly loving Foster Mom for many years where she cared for over thirty infants. She was a senior who helped other seniors at the Guildwood Nursing home. Peggy touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed. A private ceremony will be held for her family and friends on Saturday December 10th at 10:30am at St. Martin de Porres Parish-4179 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough

RIP dear Peggy, your were such a nice person. Always so pleasant despite all the physical ailments you had to endure. Hope you will be united with your husband and son now. You will be sadly missed by the Vision Care Centre at Kingston Rd and Markham Rd. You touched many lives including mine.
