Dear Adamkowski’s, I was very lucky to spend some time with Margaret and receive her wonderful hospitality and warmth on my trips to Toronto to visit Greg and Suzanne. I can only imagine the tens of thousands of people she smiled at over her 99 years. I’m sure she’s still smiling on all of you and grateful to have had such a wonderful family.
Sorry for your loss of a wonderful Mother Grandmother anf Great-grandmother. Margaret was a dear friend of mind , a neighbour on Caronridge, a bridge partner, a quilter, great shopper and latterly woderful to converse with on the phone.
Kindest regards to all the Adamkowskis.
I send my heart-felt love and condolences to Margaret’s family. I will always cherish the memories of the vacations and times we have shared.
Gary… Heart felt condolences to you and all your Family. So many lovely stories over the years. Your mother’s generous and loving presence will obviously be missed by all who knew her. Thinking of you all. Maya and John.
It was so sad to read about the passing of Marg Adamkowski at the age of 99.
I first met Marg and Jerry when they moved to Kitchener, ON in the early 1960s from Michigan. My dad worked with Jerry at Uniroyal as an auditor. My parents, Don and Adelia (Tillie) Stauch, became good friends of Marg and Jerry. We had many wonderful visits to their home on Forest Hill Drive with their three boys. Jerry was larger than life and had a great sense of humour. I fondly remember Marg as a beautiful woman with a quiet disposition, a great cook and fun to be with. I will always have a special place in my heart for Marg and Jerry. My sincerest sympathies to Gary, Randy and Greg’s wife Suzanne and to the their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On behalf of all the Knights of Columbus in St. Justin Martyr Council, let me express our most sincere condolences to Gary and his extended family for the passing of his Mother, Margaret.
A number of our members have Mothers living in Amica Unionville and had the opportunity of seeing Margaret as she made her way, actively, to many activities within the building.
I only met her in passing but was impressed with her wit and vitality.
I am sure that she will be deeply missed.
