Margaret Ng (neé Lee) unexpectedly passed away on November 1, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of PauI, devoted mother to Peter (Jill) and Mary (Cyril), and cherished grandmother to Mia and Ciara.
elevated q1S33 Margaret embodied resilience, strength, and pragmatism and possessed a remarkable knack for establishing instant connections with people.
elevated q1S33 Personal interests like gardening, food, and reading, together with the breadth of her life experience combined to create endless opportunities to engage, teach, share, and inspire.
elevated q1S33 Margaret was born in China, leaving as a child to Hong Kong where she attended high school. After graduating from Taiwan University Medical School in 1964, Margaret moved to St. John’s, Newfoundland with Paul to continue their medical training. They married there in 1965, and residency opportunities took them to Detroit, Montreal, and finally Toronto, where they settled to create a lasting home.
elevated q1S33 Margaret accomplished the colossal venture of nurturing a family and practising medicine. Her career as an esteemed pathologist spanned over 30 years.
elevated q1S33 Margaret displayed an unwavering and unconditional love for her family and moved through life with extraordinary grace and kindness. Those blessed to know her found a friend for life.

So very sorry that she passed so unexpectedly. Glad for every one that she was in her home with the comfort of being where I’m sure she would have chosen.
