elevated GZ4Ff Cinapri, Margherita (Del Greco) – Born in Pescara, Italy on August 14, 1923, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2019 in her 96th year with her family by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Alessandro. Caring mother to Nino and Marilyn, Dominic and Antonella, Tony (predeceased), and Claudio and Angela. Loving Nonna to Sandy, Chris, Angela, Robert, Mary Anne, Michelle, Lisa and Adriana and 17 great grandchildren. Eldest sister to Vittoria (Osvaldo Botticchio), Remo (Gloria), Dora (Frank Marcucci) and Julie (Frank Ceschia).

My memory of Nonna
We called you Nonna Elevator because you’ve always lived in apartments with elevators. Now you take your final elevator ride up to heaven with Nonno & all those who passed before you.
I will always remember how you’d fuss to make sure we had enough to eat and drink— I will especially remember those store bought “S” cookies.
I will always remember hearing your voice say “coma qua nonna, sit ova der” in your lovingly way to tell me where to sit next to you.
I will remember those metal coasters you had under our drinks every time we came to visit you.
I remember coming to your old apartment as you got ready to move into Villa Forum & I helped wipe out your cupboards & clean your fridge.

I am so sad to hear of Margherita’s passing. She was such an amazing woman and my mom’s best friend. They would talk for hours and hours on the phone. I will cherish those memories and I know my mom was there to greet her in heaven.
I am out of town until late Monday and unable to attend the services. My thoughts and prayers to the entire Cinapri family.
