elevated Do3sw Obituary
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Margherita (Giannantonio) Mucci, who left us peacefully in her sleep on September 25, 2025, at the age of 91, at Tall Pines Retirement Home in Brampton, Ontario. Born on July 3, 1934, in Guardiaregia, Campobasso, Italy, Margherita was the cherished daughter of Felicia Marra and Giovanni Giannantonio. She grew up surrounded by the warmth of a large family with ten siblings.
elevated Do3sw Affectionately known as Margie and Rita to those who loved her, Margherita married PietroAntonio Mucci on October 29, 1956. In 1965, she and her children joined Pietro in Toronto, Ontario, where together they built a beautiful life rooted in hard work, family, and tradition.
elevated Do3sw Margherita’s love language was food – her joy came from feeding family and friends, ensuring no one ever left her table hungry. She first worked in Toronto at Mr. Christie and later at Sara Lee, where her talents and passion for baking shone. Outside of the kitchen, she found happiness in gardening, crocheting, and taking long walks through her neighborhood, where she enjoyed connecting with others and appreciating the simple beauty of everyday life.
elevated Do3sw Her devotion to family, her generosity, and her unwavering strength will remain an inspiration to all who were blessed to know her.
elevated Do3sw Family and friends will be invited to gather in her memory to celebrate her remarkable life.
