elevated 1xNrL Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of  Maria Molino (nee Musso) on December 13, 2023, in Toronto at the age of 88. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving daughters Maddalena and Adele by her side.

elevated 1xNrL Devoted and loving daughter to her predeceased parents Antonio and Emma Musso, and predeceased brothers Rocco and Ugo. Maria predeceased by her beloved husband Lorenzo (passed in 1992).  A loving mother to Maddalena and Adele (Steve) and nonna to Lauren. Mother to Tony (Kim) and sister in law to Carmela.

elevated 1xNrL Maria’s life was one filled with love for her family, her many friends, and for those whose lives she touched.  Her captivating stories created smiles, laughter, tears, and inspiration for her family. She was most importantly a proud and caring grandmother to her wonderful granddaughter Lauren, whom she cherished beyond words and who brought such happiness and laughter to her life.

elevated 1xNrL Maria’s greatest joy in life was to help others.  She accomplished this by working in a retirement home, providing senior care for the elderly and volunteering for over 15 years at Scarborough General Hospital.

elevated 1xNrL Special thanks to all her doctors at Scarborough General and Sunnybrook Hospital. The nurses at Saint Elizabeth Health, her palliative care nurse practitioner and her PSW Judith, who was not only an important part of Maria’s health care but also a friend.  Everyone from the doctors, nurses and community support teams provided care with kindness and compassion.

elevated 1xNrL She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all and will remain forever in our hearts.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to  Scarborough General Network
