elevated zXzwz Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday August 9, 2022 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of 66 years to Giovanni. Caring and devoted mother to Rose (Mario), Tom and Nick (Lorraine). Proud Nonna to Stephanie, Nicole, Emmalisa and Ian Giovanni and Bis Nonna to Giovanni and Giuliana. Loving sister in law to Donna (Tony), Michele, Gerardina (Michele), Angelina and Antonietta. Maria Battista will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

My fondest memory of Maria is at her kitchen table eating her delicious pasta. She welcomed everyone into her home with open arms.

Signora Maria Battista was a wonderful woman filled with many gifts and talents. We will especially remember how she loved to sing when we were together for New Year’s Eve and the way she made us feel welcomed whenever we were I n her home.
