Maria Camilleri passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Etobicoke General Hospital just 3 weeks short of her 90th birthday.
elevated ig7fl She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Catherine, her siblings Antonia, Joseph, Angelo and Charlie. Maria was never married but she was a second mother to all her nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly. Zija you will be greatly missed.
elevated ig7fl The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staff at Deerwood Creek Community for the excellent care they provided Zija Maria for the last 3 years.
elevated ig7fl Also a special thank you to the amazing staff at Etobicoke General Hospital for the excellent care provided to ensure Maria’s last days were comfortable.

When I first met you, you put all your trust in me and I was very grateful to have you in my life. sia, you had treated me as if I was apart of your family, giving me hugs, kisses and all your love. I Really missed you a lot, you, were very respectful, kind and thoughtful. I will never forget the bond we had shared together. May your soul rest in peace.
