It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria Conceição Soares on April 10, 2026, surrounded by her dear family at the age of 100. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Manuel, and son, Manuel. Loving mother of Manuela (Liberio). Caring mother-in-law of Eduarda. Adored grandmother of Danny (Lisa), Dianne (Matthew), Sergio (Julia) and Mandy (Dale). Proud Zinha of Evan, Gavin, Chloe, Amelia, Gabriel, Lucas and Joseph.

elevated 7n6Ga Her passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her. Maria was full of laughter and always had a joyful smile on her face, especially when in the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Known for her talented hands, she filled her home and the lives of loved ones with beautiful, handmade crochet creations. It was a hobby she enjoyed until her final moments. A lover of simple pleasures, Maria was happiest when sipping espresso and sharing a sweet pastel de nata or malassada with loved ones. She will be remembered for her compassion, her unwavering loyalty, and the love she showed to her family and friends throughout her life.
