elevated C34M6 Maria da Conceicao: A Life Celebrated in Love
elevated C34M6 Maria da Conceicao, surrounded by the love of her family, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
elevated C34M6 Her family mourns the loss of a remarkable woman – a devoted mother, grandmother (Avó), great-grandmother (Bisavó), sister, aunt (Tia), and friend. Maria’s 93 years were marked by the generous love and warmth she shared with everyone.
elevated C34M6 Widow of the late Jorge Tomaz Brasil, Maria is remembered by her loving children: Dee (Tony), Jorge (Cathy), Henry, and Lourdes (Tony). Her memory continues through her cherished grandchildren: Ashley (Jenna), Justin (Erika), Addison, Jessica (Josh), Krystal, Austin, Candace, Kelsey, Nikki, and Leslie; and her adored great-grandchildren, Anthony and Tyler.
elevated C34M6 A devout Catholic, Maria found joy in the simple pleasures of life – laughing with her children and grandchildren, spending time with her siblings, and preparing beloved family dishes. She will be remembered as a pillar of strength, compassion, and unconditional love.
elevated C34M6 The family extends gratitude to the MacKenzie Health Palliative Care Unit for their respectful and compassionate care.

I will always cherish the times she took myself and Diane Jacob at the time, to our annual beach adventures to Lake Simcoe. RIP Madrinha. Enjoy some port wine and laughing with the family.
So grateful to have had such a loving grandmother who always found a way to support and laugh with us no matter what life presented, Love you Avo.
