Obituary

elevated sbRYu It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria “Mary” DiGirolamo, who passed away peacefully in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada, on October 17, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on March 12, 1951, in L’Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy, Mary carried with her a deep love for her family, her Italian heritage, and the many cherished moments that made life so special.

elevated sbRYu Mary was the beloved wife of Marcello DiGirolamo, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, companionship, and treasured memories. She was a devoted mother to Tullio (Emilia) and Marco (Nicole), and a proud and loving grandmother to Chiara, Camila, Matteo, and Adeline, who brought endless joy and happiness into her life.

elevated sbRYu She will be lovingly remembered by her dear sister Giovanna (Michele), her nephews Roberto (Angela) and Johnny, and her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, Giuliana and Michael. Mary will also be deeply missed by her many extended family members and dear friends.

elevated sbRYu Mary found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, cooking delicious meals, and travelling to discover new places. Above all, she treasured family gatherings, where laughter, love, and togetherness filled the room. Her grandchildren held a particularly special place in her heart, and the time she spent with them was among her greatest joys.

elevated sbRYu Mary’s warmth, kindness, and love for her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she will be dearly missed, the beautiful memories she created and the love she shared will live on through her family for generations to come.
