elevated EIV7Z It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria Elinor S. Sunico, lovingly known as “Nol”, on July 17, 2026, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital at the age of 70. 

elevated EIV7Z Beloved wife to Lorenzo Joaquin S. Sunico for 38 wonderful years and a devoted, loving mother to her only child and daughter, Marian Theresa. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved.

elevated EIV7Z Nol was the heart and soul of her family. Her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She found greatest happiness gathering loved ones together, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, delicious meals, and unconditional love. An avid traveler and passionate food enthusiast, Nol embraced every new experience with enthusiasm and shared her joy with everyone around her. She also found great peace in gardening and recently discovered a love for writing her own stories, expressing the creativity and imagination that reflected her beautiful spirit.

elevated EIV7Z Nol dedicated many years of her life to Ontario Health, where she worked in Cancer Care Ontario. She played a significant role in helping to automate the dialysis registry database for hospitals across Ontario. Her professionalism, dedication, compassion and unwavering kindness earned the admiration and respect of her colleagues and everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her.

elevated EIV7Z Nol’s love, strength, generosity, and gentle spirit touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
