Dear God on Sept 3rd 2020 I lost a beautiful friend, cousin Marie…Marie became a special person in my life we shared many precious moments we shared laughter, stories we shared God together. Marie battled cancer for the past 4 years and although Marie suffered a great deal of pain she never once complained about it she was an inspiration in my life she showed me how strong she was. She lived her days like she didn’t have cancer. Thank you Lord for bringing Marie into my life I will deeply miss her and her voice saying to me her greatest line “I cant lie to you Mary” lol…I prayed for her to get a miracle and I believe God granted her the greatest miracle He gave her the miracle of rest, peace, comfort and a place in Heaven where Marie has no more pain, no more tears and no more drama. Her new blessing is everlasting life with God the Almighty. To remember Marie each day is the greatest gift God gave me in return. Marie you once said to me that one we will be walking together and I will promise you that we will walk together in Heaven. I will cherish our friendship forever. I love you always and you will be greatly missed, I know for sure that you’re smiling down from Heaven to reassure us that you are finally at peace in paradise. Marie my last words to you last week as we held hands and prayed I said to you that God is with you beside you and all around you and I believe that you felt His presence because I saw the peace in your face. Rest in peace my beautiful cousin it was such an honour to know you…until we meet again…
Mary Salvi xoxo
