elevated U5uFm Passed away peacefully at the Wenleigh Long Term Care residence on December 3, 2018 at the age of 85 after a long battle with dementia & alzheimer’s. Maria Helena is predeceased by her husband Manuel. Mother of Mario (Carol Anne) and Rita (Tony). Grandmother of Carly (Shawn), Ashley (Rob), Diane (Miguel) and Christine (Justin). Great Grandmother of Cassandra, Amelia & Jason. Predeceased by her parents Albino & Gracinda. Dear sister of Irene (Joe) and loving Aunt to Rosa (Flavio) & Nelson. Predeceased by her late brother Manuel. Maria was a devoted mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Everyone she touched will never forget her amazing spirit, her caring and kindness always putting others first as well as her never ending devotion to her family. Maria will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Thank you to the caregiver & doctors at the Wenleigh LTC. In honour of Maria donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
