It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Maria Hribar (nee Samsa) on September 26, 2026, at the age of 96. Maria is now reunited with her beloved husband Joseph.
elevated ysRis Loving mother of Veronica (Tibor), proud grandma of Sandra (Michael) and Steven, and cherished great-grandma of Anthony and Nicholas. Maria will be missed by her sister Berta and was predeceased by her brothers Joze and Dolf, sisters Tona, Fani and Ivanka, and many dear friends. We take comfort in knowing they are all reunited once again.

Veronica, lost of a mother what every the age is terrible. I wishing you comfort that she is in better hands now, after being failing for many year. We had many thinking in common with EU family, traditions, cottages. My heart goes out for you all. My mothers time is coming very soon also at 95 yrs old.

I am so sorry for the family’s loss. Please accept my deepest condolences to everyone during this difficult time. I’m truly sorry that I was unable to be there in person because I’m sick, but please know that I am thinking and keeping you all in my prayers.
Maria was such a lovely person. She always made me feel like I was part of the family, and I will always be grateful for the warmth and kindness she showed me. I especially loved our talks and those drives home from church together. I will always cherish those memories.
