elevated 8OHHI Maria loved to dance but found that cancer was an unappealing and awkward partner.
elevated 8OHHI On July 10, Maria took one last solo twirl and left cancer behind.
elevated 8OHHI She leaves behind her beloved partner Rogerio and her two sons Matthew (Lauryn) and Andrew. Maria’s life was enriched and graced through Rogerio’s love, support and selflessness. She also leaves behind her siblings, Filomena (Jose), Ema (John), Linda (Roger), Rosa (Manuel), Manny (Jenny) and Tony (Fernanda). Her two stepchildren Jose (Gisela) and Rosa(Ricardo) along with her best friend Donna Mohammed.
elevated 8OHHI Maria was full of life, loved being with family, and loved to dance, create art and listen to music and her favourite song was Johnny Cash (Ring of Fire). In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice who took tremendous care of Maria until her final hour.
elevated 8OHHI In light of the current COVID 19 Pandemic, the family will be having a private Funeral Mass on Wednesday July 14, 2021 at 1:30pm.

She shouldn’t have been taken by cancer, she should have had a chance to dance and be hospitable. As she has always been the scene of the party.
