It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Merlino on July 8, 2025, at Mackenzie Health Hospital, at the age of 90. Born on July 18, 1934 in Mignano Monte Lungo, Campania, Italy to parents Antonio and Angela. Beloved sister of Iolanda (late Stefano). Predeceased by brothers and sisters; Arturo (Iolanda), Peppino (Giuseppina), Armando (Mela), Mimma and Carmela (Giovanni).  Maria will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews here in Canada and Italy. Maria will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
