It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Maria Urania Mota on August 10, 2025, at Burton Manor Nursing Home, just shy of her 94th birthday. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Jose. Loving mother of Margarida, Leonor (Jim), Susana (Joe), and Paul. Proud Avó of Evans, Daniela (James), Sean, Daniel S., Neesha (Sava), Cassandra (Shane), Ana and Daniel and great grandmother of Zorion and Aidan. Dear sister of Eulalia, Irene (Tio Noe), Auxiliadora (Tio Macedo) and sister-in-law of Ana Rosa. She is now reunited with her siblings, Jose Antonio and Armanda. Maria Urania will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

I will always remember Urania, for her wonderful sense of humour and grace.
One of her loves and greatest achievements was her role as wife and mother.
I remember she used to like make up cute nicknames for people she was just meeting.
As her earthly job is now complete and she will go on to be surrounded by many passing family and friends .
My deepest condolences to her children and all her remaining family.. please take solace in knowing how special she was..

Our sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs Maria A.Mota. She was a very special woman who always made you very welcome. Our hearts go out to the entire family. Sorry I missed the notification of the mass/visitation.I only just read about it last evening Aug15,2025.
