After a long and hard-fought battle with cancer, Maria Stella Amoroso passed away in Toronto, Ontario on November 7, 2018, at the age of 79.Stella will be remembered by family and friends as a strong, courageous, funny, and loving woman who devoted her life to her family.Predeceased by her husband Carlo, Stella will be greatly missed by her children Carlo, Antonio, Angela, and Josie and by her grandchildren Giancarlo, Alessia, and Lucio. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My heart sank when I heard the news of your mom’s passing so sad to know she is gone but she will definitely be remembered for her hard fight & determination to beat this terrible disease! I hope you all take comfort in knowing she is at peace & you all did everything you could for her always by her side! You were her strength and I hope she will pray for you all to have that same strength to carry on & know her spirit will live on with you all!
