elevated 3wzle It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Teresa Palma. God called Maria Teresa on Sunday, February 8, 2026, and she passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health – Richmond Hill at the age of 92, just a few weeks before her 93rd birthday.

elevated 3wzle She is predeceased by her beloved husband Pietro. Loving mother of Carmela and Peter (Rose). Adored Nonna of Claudia (Christian), Daniel (Vanessa), Natalie (Dan), Stephanie (Wesley) and Justin. Cherished Bisnonna of Valentina, Bianca, Siella and Santteo, who brought her endless joy.

elevated 3wzle Maria Teresa was born in Pisticci, Matera, Italy in 1933 and immigrated to Canada in 1955. Her legacy is one of strength, kindness, unwavering commitment to her family and a love that was felt by all who knew her. She showed her love through her incredible cooking, always with a smile on her face and kind words for everyone around her.
