elevated QF4rR Peacefully passed away on Tuesday April 24, 2018 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Angelo, caring and devoted mother of Adriana (Frank) and Frank (Lisa). Proud Nonna of Rocco (Vanessa), Daniela, Jessica and Angelo. Maria will always be remembered in the hearts of her many family and friends.
Our condolences Frank and Adriana on the loss of your mother. She was a special person to me. She was like another mother and I miss her and our visits. My mother, Angela, will also miss her sister very much. They were very close and enjoyed each other’s company whenever they were together. We all miss her and will love her forever in our hearts.
Sending heartfelt deepest sympathy to the families of Maria, Frank & Adriana. Without a doubt the sadness of losing such a special loving lady in their lives never easy. For many years Maria and I would share a Christmas letter, and I always looked forward to Maria’s beautiful words, written as she spoke them to me from when I was a little girl, growing up in Canada. She never forgot to “dare un baccio a tuo caro marito, e genitori” “give a kiss to your dear husband and parents” in her letter. Sadly, living apart it was the best we could do to share each other’s lives. I will always cherish those wonderful memories, and her beautiful soul.
