elevated y6zcl Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the age of 94. Loving wife of Mario for 67 wonderful years. Cherished mother of Louis (Antoniette) and Gioia (Vito). Dear nonna of Dino (Dorothy), Kathy (Jake), Gianluca and bisnonna of Madeleine, Nicholas, Christiane and Alexander. Sister of the late Dario (Ida) and Concetta (Gerardo). She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, neighbors, friends and her family pets, Spatz and the late Mish & Mash. The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. The final rite of committal and entombment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill). As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Truly sorry for the loss of a wonderful Woman. She cared so much for everyone. You would never leave her home without having eaten. Just a remarkable person, and so proud to have known her for many years. Much love to the family, my heart goes out to all of you, and Mario, I know you will miss her dearly, as we will too. God give you all the courage and strength to go through the next several days. She’s in God’s Kingdom now. God Bless. Amen.
