elevated vlO6U On November 3rd, 2023, Marianna Pirruccio (nee Chiaravallotti) passed peacefully at home with her beloved family by her side, in her 95th year. Early that morning, the clouds lifted, and she was ushered into heaven. 

elevated vlO6U Born February 13th, 1928 in Satriano, Catanzaro (Italy) to Domenico and Maria Chiaravallotti. Wife to the late Domenico Pirruccio; Mother of Rosetta (Nicola) Basile, Terri Tino (the late John) DeCotis, the late Nicola (Carmela) Pirruccio, the late Gino (Rosa) Pirruccio, and Silvana Mirabelli (Claudio Munoz). Nonna to 15 and Nonna Granda (aka Nonna Bella) to 23, Marianna found great pride and joy in the company of her family. She is survived by her sister Nina, and was predeceased by her siblings Francesco, Teresa, Concetta, and Theodore.

elevated vlO6U Marianna and Domenico married October 10th, 1950, and immigrated to Canada to South Porcupine, ON to raise their family. In the 1960’s, she moved with her family to Toronto. A woman of strength and resilience, Marianna will be remembered for her witty humour, unwavering love for her family and resourceful crafting. 

elevated vlO6U The Tree of Life represents the connection between earth and heaven and memorializes the family in legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations go to Planting a Tree to Remember to pay tribute to Marianna’s life and the intricate network of branches that represents her families growth and love.
