It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mariantonia on November 11, 2024. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Mario.
elevated lEm3b Cherished by her dear children Joanne (the late George Iadipaolo) and Frank (Lorna). Loving Nonna to Robert (Sandra), Daniel (Cristina), Evonna (Matthew), Brendan (Emilie) and Mario. Adored Bisnonna to Juliana, Camilla, Luca, Andrew and Emma. She will be joined in heaven by her parents Bernardo and Incoronata, and siblings. Maria will be remembered for being the matriarch of the family, always cooking elaborate meals for her children and grandchildren to enjoy.
elevated lEm3b Mariantonia’s life was one filled with love for her family, her many friends and for those whose lives she touched.
elevated lEm3b She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all. In memory of our mother donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Beautiful Maria. Your smiling face is in my memory and I always loved stopping at your house as I walked down Cocksfield with my grandparents. You have been reunited with quite a few members of the Cocksfield crew. Rest in eternal peace.
I have such a vivid memory of you, Maria, with Mario, your husband and life partner, during the sunny summer mornings you both would have the garage door fully opened, south facing in sunshine, with a table for two sitting enjoying your espressos watching the everyone else rushing about (me one of them). Whenever I drive by your home now I still look over and remember…You with Mario will be missed, rest in peace.
Mariantonia, non dimenticherò mai la tua amicizia, il tuo sorriso, il tuo buon cuore, I pellegrinaggi fatti insieme. Adesso sei volata in Cielo per raggiungere il tuo Mario in Paradiso. Ti ricorderò Nella mia preghiera.

Very saddened to read of your Mother’s passing.

Living upstairs from you and your family all those years ago are some of our most cherished memories. We always referred to your Mom as ‘La Signora’ and your Dad was ‘Zio Mario’. They were just the loveliest and kindest people.
