It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marieta Correia Da Piedade  Alves who passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026, surrounded by love. Mom’s life was not always easy. From childhood, she carried struggles that followed her throughout her life. Yet, despite her own pain, she never lost her compassion for others. She had a special heart for those who were suffering, especially the poor, the sick and anyone in need. She was always willing to give, always thinking of others, and she prayed faithfully for those who needed God’s help. She trusted in the Lord and found comfort in prayer. We find peace knowing that she has now been welcomed into God’s loving arms. Mom will be remembered for her kind heart, her compassion and the love she gave. She will be deeply missed by her five children, Luis, Maria (Manny), Jaime (Zeza), Sandra (Vince), and Robert (Andreia), her grandchildren, Cindy (Helder), Ricky(Alexa), Jason, Justin(Sarah), Molly, Kiarra(Sophie),  Brittney (Ethan), Martim and Lucas as well as her great grandchildren,  Nataly, Emily, Anthony and Matthew. Rest now, Mom. Your struggles are over. You are at peace, and you are forever loved. We will miss you Momma and we will carry you with us always ❤️
