elevated olB5w Marija Pockaj, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Dom Lipa Nursing Home, Etobicoke. Born April 13, 1940 in Slovenia, she is predeceased by her late husband Justo Pockaj and son Bernie Pockaj. Loving mother to her surviving children Branko Pockaj (Suzanne), Stan Pockaj (Lina) and Rose Damaso (Ed). Loved by her grandchildren; Adam (Vanessa), Kevin (Breanna), Joseph, Serena (Trevon), Melanie, Stefani, Matthew, Michael (Maye), Mark and her two great grandchildren; Brayden and Faye. The family would like to thank Dagmar and the staff at Dom Lipa Nursing Home for their excellent and compassionate care by her side, daily for the last six years. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Marija’s honour.
