elevated Ji7Uf Marino passed away on March 13, 2021 the day before his 88th birthday, survived by his beloved wife Carmela of 62 years. Born in Chiauci, Isernia, Italy to the late Antonio Di Lonardo and Carmela Iacobucci. Cherished father of Rose (Aldo) Mucciarone and Valentina (Rod) McGuigan. Adored nonno of Luca (Natalie), Andrea (Olivia), Adam, Adrian (Alyssa), and Ryan. Proud Bisnonno to Lorenzo, Noemi, Elisa, Sebastian, Bianca, and baby girl M. Beloved brother to Nicola Giuseppina, Lina and the late Teodoro, Maria, Rosina and Giovannina. Much loved brother in-law to Domenico and Giuseppina.
elevated Ji7Uf Marino was the only member of his family to leave Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1969 with his wife and 2 daughters . He was a military veteran. He made many cherished friends during his time in Italy and Switzerland where he worked for 5 years, and then in Canada. He will be missed by all.
elevated Ji7Uf Due to COVID-19, a private funeral mass and entombment will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. When we are able to gather again, the family will invite all of Marino’s friends to a Memorial Mass at a later date.
