elevated YtDot Obituary
elevated YtDot It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Di Paola, who departed from this life on August 22nd at Sunnybrook Hospital. With great courage and dignity, he fought hard, but lost his battle with brain cancer.
elevated YtDot Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife Antonietta, his daughter Maria and son-in-law Antonio, his son Giuseppe and partner Prezel, and the joy of his life: his granddaughters, Francesca and Giuliana.
elevated YtDot He will be remembered for his strength, and the way he was always there for whoever needed a helping hand. His generosity towards his family knew no boundaries.
He loved his nieces and nephews like they were his own—and to him, they were. We will all do our best moving forward to remember the love, not the loss.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the incredible caregiving staff at the Sunnybrook palliative care unit (K1C). You became our honorary family. With your constant smiles of encouragement, hugs, and never-ending support, you all made this difficult time in our lives less heavy. We will miss him terribly, but grief is the price we pay for love.
elevated YtDot Love you Dad, now and forever
