elevated Yj5C3 Obituary
elevated Yj5C3 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Mario Rao on February 10, 2023. Mario was a loving father to Stephen (Pattriana), Andrew and Nancy and husband to the late Anna Rao. Born in Reggio Calabria, Italy. Came to Canada in the early 50s and worked as a mechanic. He will be missed by all his family, friends and those who knew him.
elevated Yj5C3 In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Uncle Mario,
You will be missed forever and always.
I will treasure our time living across the street.
I have fond childhood memories of us all sitting on the veranda as we enjoyed ice tea on those warm summer nights. You always made me laugh with your hilarious jokes.
I am certain now in heaven, you are continuing to make others laugh and smile.
😊💙🕊🙏
My deepest condolences the Rao family. May you Rest in Peace.
You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.
Mario is my cousin. I didn’t know him in Italy but I’ve known him since the day I came to Canada in 1957. He became my best friend, he was best man at my wedding.
We worked grocery chain stores together for years. He was always there when I needed him and I hope I was for him also.
We talked almost every day. He will always be on my thoughts. I will never forget him.
Rest in peace Mario.
Sincere condolences to Nancy, Andrew and Steven.
We will all miss our Brother in Law Mario. He was kind and giving with his time and knowledge. His helpfulness with our vehicles was invaluable and we very much appreciated it. We know he is in the Lords care. Rest in Peace. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss you.
I did not know Mario Rao, but through the eyes and stories of his children. I have known 2 of his children Nancy and Andrew for many many years. Both are independent, motivated life achievers and very kind and loving people. Take pride Mr Rao that you played a part in this. Nancy and Andrew, thinking of you during this difficult time. I’m sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers

Mario
How blessed was our famiy to have had you as a son in-law and brother-in law. You demonstrated nothing but kindness and decency to everyone you knew. You were an inspiration.
Now you are finally united with your beloved Anna and your parents whom we know you missed so much for many years. Your passing is a big loss especially for your beloved children and extended family and friends.

Stephen,Andrew and Nancy,
My heart is with you at this time of deep and difficult mourning.
I know too well what you are all going through.
Your dad was a honourable and dignified man. When uncle Lenny pasted away your dad never hesitated to lend a helping hand. A true testament of the kind of man your father was.
I will sincerely miss your dad. We lived across the street from one another for over 40 years. We shared many of life’s milestones.
Please remember that you’re not alone. I am always here for you.
I take comfort in knowing that uncle Lenny, your Mom and now your Dad are all together looking over us.
Love Auntie Mary🕊
