It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the death of our dear Marion Aguiton. Marion passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
elevated 3D1HD Marion was born on March 24, 1937, in Trinidad and Tobago. Loving wife of Robert Aguiton for 58 years. Loving mother of Derek (Abigail) and Bryce (Jeannine). Cherished grandmother to Gabrielle and Sienna.
elevated 3D1HD Marion was the sister of Catherine, Claire, Lloyd, Louis, Kenneth (all deceased), and Patrick, Patricia and Simona. Aunt to many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law to Merlyn Aguiton, Victoria Aguiton, Joan Lawrence and Isabel Lawrence.
elevated 3D1HD Marion was a warm, kind, and gentle soul, devoted to her faith and deeply dedicated to her family. She found great joy in cooking and baking, was especially gifted at decorating beautiful wedding cakes, and treasured the time she spent with friends and loved ones.
elevated 3D1HD For the past six years, Marion lived with progressive dementia. Despite the challenges this brought, the warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit that defined her remained with her until the very end. Those who knew and loved Marion will remember her for the beautiful person she was and for the love she so generously shared with others.
elevated 3D1HD She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all.

A blessed and dignified soul, beloved by all near and afar, now proceeding to her just rewards in the presence of The Almighty, the Holy Mother, all the Saints and Divine Beings to whom she was always committed, and her own departed relatives and friends with whom she so joyfully shared her life.

Aunty Marion was like another mother to me and my siblings and we always enjoyed summer vacations with her, Uncle Robert, Derek and Bryce when we visited Trinidad. Always dignified and well put together, she was a beautiful, kind and loving aunt. She left Trinidad to make a future for her sons in Canada, who have done her proud. I saw her briefly a few days before she passed and although she did not remember me, she was still beautiful, comfortable and at peace in her own little world.
I hope she has been reunited with her departed husband, siblings and friends and that they are all resting in eternal peace.
