elevated 8mJwi It is with great sadness we announce the passing away on Marlene Dubeau on December 8, 2020 at the age of 77. Devoted mother to Greg (Aimee). Proud grandmother to Gabriel and Katelyn. Cherished sister to Roy (Joanne) and aunt to Christopher and Adam. Marlene will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many family and friends. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My heartfelt condolences to Marlene’s family. We were good friends back in the 60’s and 70’s as part of the YCW (Young Christian Workers). We shared lunch with another friend, Cassie Doherty, a few years ago. It was lovely to see her again and hear about her grandchildren. She was a beautiful person. May she rest in peace.
Greg, kindly accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your dear and kind mother, Marlene. In our past conversations, Marlene spoke lovingly of her grandchildren and how much she missed seeing them. We will miss Marlene too as she was one of our loyal Rosary Apostolate members. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Wishing you moments of peace and comfort as you celebrate Marlene’s well lived life and the contributions she made towards the betterment of society. I was blessed to walk part of my earlier life journey in Canada with her. We were a community of close friends, who are connected in a meaningful way, as members of the Young Christian Workers movement. Marlene always stood out as one of the best in character, in manner and in style. Goodness always comes to mind when I recall Marlene’s involvement with our group

Sincere sympathy to Marlenes family whom she loved and was totally devoted. Marlene and I shared a mutual friendship with our Scottish friend, AnnMaria, who claimed Marlene as her”rock”. Marlene touched many lives and was loved by all who knew her.

My condolences to Marlene’s friends and family. We were both members of the Young Christian Workers in Toronto. Marlene was a dedicated member of the Young Christian Workers and worked hard to ensure that young people were included in our group. I will never forget her. May she rest in peace.
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of this beautiful woman. Back in the 60’s I became involved in the YCW and often found myself leaving Windsor to attend meetings in Toronto. There I met some wonderful people and was blessed to eventually become friends with Marlene Colangelo. Whenever I went to this city I was welcomed in her home with open arms and of course feasted on that great Italian food. In her quiet humble way she touched so many lives with her compassion, generosity and belief. She became a good friend to me and many. These memories will never be forgotten.

Marlene was such a kind and gentle person. We have so many wonderful memories of family celebrations. Marlene had a great smile and always made everyone feel welcome. She will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.

Marlene was a dear friend and colleague for some 40 years. We worked together at Stevenson & Kellogg and later at A.T.Kearney until she retired. She was so proud of her family and I know you will miss her so very much. My deepest sympathy to you all.
A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song, the good life I lived while I was strong. ❤️
It was so nice to have all the cousins at my wedding in 2012 and Marlene was there with her pretty smile, I am sad and all my thoughts and prayers go to all of the family and friends who knew Marlene. God Bless
Marlene and I were co-workers at Kearney for almost 10 years, until she retired. She was a great mentor and friend to me. Our birthdays were only a few days apart. When Marlene turned 60 and I turned 40, our co-workers had a cake for us in the office with the number 100 on it! We had a good laugh about that. Marlene, although the pandemic made it impossible for us to get together for our lunches and catch-ups, you were always in my thoughts. I will miss you. To Marlene’s family, my deepest sympathy to all of you. Godspeed Marlene XO
