Kevin, Grant, Melanie and Family. I am very heartbroken to hear of your loss. Your mom was a wonderful person who was kind, always happy and nice to everyone. She was one of my hockey moms that I could count on growing up. I remember sitting at your kitchen table with you guys and her numerous times as she made us food or just talked. I cannot even begin to tell you how I feel for you guys. Say a prayer and remember the good times because there are so many. Love your best friend Paul and Christian Robert.
I remember Marlene to be a very kind, caring and inviting mom to her children and their friends. She was genuinely interested in what I had to say and always asked if I was hungry each time I stopped by the Gaupholm home. I am extremely grateful for having shared so many great memories with Kevin, Grant and Melanie during long car rides, at the hockey rink, cottage or #9 Hilda. Supportive and always cheering us on in the background was Mrs. Gaupholm. I am extremely saddened by her passing, but glad she is not suffering. I was lucky to be included in her family so frequently during my formative years. Thank you Mrs. Gaupholm, Grant, Kevin and Melanie. My sincere condolences.
