So sorry for your loss. Martha was a great cousin. Our families were very close and visited every other week before I moved away. I treasure the memories of our talks during our visits. Our deepest condolences.
Ross & Jean Mortlock
Thank you Ross and Jean .. your kind thoughts are much appreciated.
Susan, Dan and family xoxo
I send my sincere condolences to all Martha’s family and friends. I married Ed Mortlock, one of Martha’s cousins and Ed, like Ross, enjoyed spending time with his cousins as they grew up. We lost touch when we moved to Vancouver apart from exchanging Christmas greetings.
I offer special prayers for Martha on the 13th.
My condolences to all the family and friends for the recent loss of Martha. I married one of her cousins Ed Mortlock and I know how close he was with his family while growing up. We lost touch when moving to Vancouver other than Christmas greetings over the years.
My prayers will be with you on the 13th.
Sue Mortlock
Thank you Sue!
Your kind thoughts are much appreciated.

Hello Joanne
Lovely to “ meet you”. Absolutely share my message. I have no idea why the first message didn’t post until I sent a second! If you can cancel one please do so.
I remember meeting your mother along with all the family…a delightful young teen along with your aunts and uncles. Will think of you on the 13 th.
Kind regards
Sue
Martha was a force of life who lit up every room she was in. She had a big and generous heart and a love of life that was contagious. She lived her life as an exclamation and not an explanation and all of us whose lives she touched were enriched by knowing her. To honour the kindness, compassion and generosity she always showed, a donation has been made in her name to the Good Shepherd Ministry so that the ripples of her kindness will continue to be a blessing for others. We can honour her best by trying to be the things we most admired about her.
Patricia and Jim ..
on behalf of all our family thank you kindly for donation to such an important charity. Your tribute to Martha is beautiful and much appreciated.
warm regards,
Susan, Dan and family xoxo
‘Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same.”
You weren’t just a friend you were family. The laughter, the memories, the special times we shared were a gift.
Never to be forgotten and always to be treasured.
Sue and Rick .. thank you for your lovely comments and … you are indeed correct having Martha in our lives was a gift … a gift of unconditional love.

Deep in our hearts there is a special corner saved only for a very special person. Martha was that person to me. I met Martha when I joined the Royal Bank in 1976. We became friends and this friendship has lasted through the past 50 years. I look upon Martha as a sister. We have supported each other through the good and difficult times in our lives. We accepted each other for who we are and understood our failings. We have shared our time, and our intimate thoughts always with understanding and love.
Martha was special, she made this world a better place. My deepest sympathy to her family.
