elevated i9cCN Mary Ann Joseph Lomibao passed away on January 14, 2026 at the age of 58 after a courageous battle with cancer. A loving mother, nurturing wife, generous friend, and dedicated colleague, her life was defined by unwavering faith, strength, and unconditional love.
elevated i9cCN Mary Ann was the epitome of home. Whether through a freshly baked treat or a lovingly prepared meal, she showed her love in the most comforting ways. As the heart of our family, her love was constant, selfless, and unconditional—felt in the smallest gestures and the greatest sacrifices. Though cancer challenged her body, it never diminished her spirit. She faced each day with quiet strength, resilience, and dignity, teaching us what it truly means to be brave.
elevated i9cCN Mary Ann worked as a dental assistant at CAMH where her colleagues admired her profound empathy and positivity. Beyond the dental clinic, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life: a warm cup of coffee, tending to her many plants, and creating fond memories with her loved ones. She also had her love of traveling and discovering new places. Wherever she went, she carried a sense of wonder and gratitude, reminding us to appreciate the beauty of the world and the blessings within it.
elevated i9cCN She will be remembered for her kindness, her comforting presence, her deep love for her family, and the countless ways she made life better simply by being part of it. Her presence was a gift, and her absence leaves a space that can never be filled—but her love will remain with us always.
elevated i9cCN Mary Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Ulysses and her four cherished children Eunice, Joanna, Simon, and Krista, who will carry her memory forward in their hearts and lives. She is also remembered fondly by her father (Tatay Raymundo), siblings (Susan, Irma, Jun and Jomel) as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.
elevated i9cCN Family, friends and colleagues are invited to share stories that reflect the life and legacy of a woman who always gave more than she asked in return.

Hi Tita Ann,
It hurts to say goodbye, but I’m happy you’re not in pain anymore and that you’re with God now. I am so lucky to have had an auntie like you.
Thank you so much for all the advice you gave me and my siblings. You never left our side, and we felt your love every single day. I promise I’ll remember every advice you gave to me. I’m going to study hard, finish my school, and do my best to help our family.
Don’t worry about Daddy, Tita. We’ll take really good care of him. Thank you for everything. I love you and I’ll miss you so much!
My condolences and prayers. May she rest in peace.
Dear Maryann,
I am sorry that your life was taken from us so soon. I wish that you could have seen your children grow up, get married, and to grow old with your husband, as my late wife wished to do. I wish that I could have worked with you again. Your presence always cheered me. I remember once I asked you how you became so patient and gentle– always understanding and rarely complaining about anything or anyone. Did you realize that I wanted to become more like you in those ways? Thank you for being there with me and working so hard alongside of me.
When you see Jesus, I think he would say that you looked after him when he was in need. Inasmuch as you were kind and caring to the many of our patients, you cared for him.
May you into his joy and the blessing prepared for you.
We who remain will walk with courage, knowing that you look upon us from within that embrace in which every joy is fulfilled and every tear wiped away. And will seek to honour your memory by trying to live life as you did. May God look after your family. Till we meet again.
Paul
