Strina Marija završila je svoje poslanje u velikim godinama zemaljskoga života, Bogu smo zahvalni što nam je svjedočila Božju ljubav konkretnim djelima u teškim vremenima. Posebno je voljela svoju obitelj i sve strpljivo podnosila poput Djevice Marije ispod križa na Golgoti. Svoju domovinu Hrvatsku fizički je davno napustila, ali je uvijek pomagala svima i bila srcem povezana rodoljubljem, domoljubljem i Bogoljubljem, jer znala je kako je živjeti bez slobode. Napokon zora je došla nakon toliko desetljeća i još više strina Marija sa stricem Božom pomagala je našu obitelj u Hrvatskoj. Bog nek joj
bude nagrada u kraljevstvu nebeskom. Svi su naši Kovačevići davno otputovali, sada će se napokon susresti s tolikima kojima je pokazivala put prema onoj Nebeskoj domovini gdje smrti više nema i gdje je radost vječna. Gdje ljubav plače, vjera nas tješi. Počivala u miru Božjemu. Amen.
