elevated rSRV6 Born and raised in Newfoundland, Mary was the second oldest of 12 children, in a family filled with love and laughter. She moved to Toronto as a young teen, where her creative spirit flourished. From an early age, Mary expressed herself through art, designing and sewing clothing, and later working as a window designer for Reitman’s.

Throughout her career she would work with struggling children, teens and mothers to be, however, her most rewarding work was with the Veterans at Sunnybrook Hospital, as a team member of the Creative Arts Department. Through her work, Mary combined her natural ability to help others with her love for art, providing comfort and healing to those in need and support and mentorship to her colleagues.
elevated rSRV6 Mary was a devoted wife for over 50 years. Her love story with Gerald began as admiration and friendship that, in a short time, blossomed into a once-in-a-lifetime love – a connection that grew into something truly extraordinary.
