BUDNICK, Maureen (nee Murray) – Surrounded by the love of her family, Maureen Budnick passed away peacefully on August 21, 2019 after a sudden illness.  Maureen joins Fred, her beloved husband of 46 years, in heaven.  Caring and devoted mother to Glenn (Tessa), Barb (Ed), Alicia (Rob) and Andy (Annette).  Proud grandmother of Jason, Colin, Kevin, Kerry, Graham and Alana, and great grandma of Melanie and Tiara. Maureen was born in 1939 in Salford, England to the parents of the late William and Eva Murray.  She will be missed by her siblings Billy (Jackie), Evelyn (John), Terrance (Janet) and Barbara (Steve), and her many nieces and nephews in England and across Canada.  Maureen is predeceased by her brother Jackie (Margaret). The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the team of doctors and nurses at Brampton Civic Hospital who took brilliant care of Maureen’s needs during her life in Brampton, including her compassionate end of life care.  Thanks to the wonderful staff and her many friends at the Bramalea Retirement Centre.  Her friends at the retirement centre and her Risdon Court neighborhood made for a lifetime of memories and laughter. In memory of Maureen, donations to the Brampton Civic Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
