A couple of days ago I was reminiscing about my older brother Bob (R.I.P.) and of what he meant to me. ❤️
Well, he meant much more to our mother!!! I don’t say that with any reservation as a mother’s first born will always be her first!!! ❤️
Some of you may not have been aware, but Mom hasn’t been well these past 4 years (in Palliative care), and in fact a large part of her was lost when Bobby died, her life energy was just sort of sucked out of her. Of course, she loved the rest of us unconditionally, but she was just never the same after Bobby died. 😞
My brother Dominique put it oh so well…in that it was her memories that kept her going!!! Just think…when we are at our lowest its fond memories which keep us going!!! 🤔
Anyway, I firmly believe that my Guardian Angel – Bobby – helped in relieving Mom of her sorrow and ill health by taking her home where she’s wanted to go for years…to be with him, my other brother Richard (R.I.P.), and many other loved ones!!!
My mother Medea Boucher died today after years of suffering and in Palliative Care at the age of 92. ❤️😞😢❤️
Mom was an incredibly quiet soul who loved and cared for others asking for nothing in return!!! Anyone who came into our home with an empty belly left with a belly full and a warm spot in their hearts for her!!! ❤️
My mother never spanked me, or for that matter ever yelled at me!!! I knew how much she loved me and the worst thing I could ever do growing up was to disappoint her!!! I really feel she learned how to express her love with a mere look…from her quiet – deep-set eyes and loving heart that she inherited from her father, my Pappy (the reason I want to be my “Pappy” for my grandchildren)! ❤️
Sorry I’m so long winded, but no doubt Bobby and Richard are now sharing the same memories which kept Mom alive and are basking in their love for each other as they look down on us.
Thank you, Bobby, for taking Mom home…she’s suffered enough!
R.I.P. Mom…
❤️❤️😞😞😞😞❤️❤️
Tonight I’m having Curried Chicken for dinner…her favourite!!!
😂❤️😢
Had dinner, but it just wasn’t the same…will just have to make some Guyanese Pepper-Pot Mom taught me how to make!!! (She laughed like hell the first time I made it when I left the Onion skins on.. .) 😂❤️😂
