elevated vY8xT Michael Anthony Di Tacchio passed away on April 27, 2023 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle. Beloved husband of Kari, caring and devoted father to Daniel and Joseph, and dear Brother of Roberto and Andrea (Massimo). Michael was the beloved son of the late Maria (Polsinelli) and Aldo Di Tacchio. Lovingly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

We are very saddened to hear about Michaels passing. He fought so hard to stay with his family for as long as possible. He will be remembered for his big smile and how much he loved his family and those around him.

His smile would light up a room, and when you saw him, he greeted you with such warm hugs like family. No matter what was going on in his life, he always had that smile, a good listening ear and of course his laughter was infectious. Even though he was my hairstylist for decades and for my mom and dad as well, I considered him a dear friend. He was also so kind with his time and his generosity of spirit. I am so very sad to hear about Mike’s passing. He was my hairstylist and friend for 22 years, and only a year older than me. We regularly talked about our families and our life experiences along the way. I am really going to miss him and that infectious smile and laugh of his. My condolences to his wife Kari and the boys, who he talked about with such love and adoration.
We used to talk about travel, family and friends while Mike styled my hair over the twelve + years we knew each other as stylist and client. He did my wedding hair. He often spoke of his wife and boys with such love I felt as if I knew them. Wondeful man, he will be missed.

Our hearts go out to Kari, Daniel and Joseph. Mike’s big personality and warmth were so evident to everyone he met. He was a wonderful neighbour and we had many fence chats. His Halloween decorations were legendary! We were shocked and saddened to hear about his battle and will remember his fighting spirit always.

I met Mike many years ago when he was working at Images Hair Salon. His big smile, personality and talent to make anyone look gorgeous in under an hour instantly won me over. I remember him talking about his upcoming wedding and later the arrival of his sons. Over the years, we would talk about family gatherings, our kids and their schools and our parents. Mike always greeted me and my family with a big hug. He was genuine, hard working and had a fierce love for his family. Thank you for being a friend Mike. I know that I’m a better person for knowing you. I’ll keep you and your family in my thoughts and close to my heart in the months and years ahead. Rest peacefully Mike.
