I was very fortunate to have spent a lot of time with Uncle Mike in the last several years.
My sister and I grew up with Uncle Mike and Auntie Violet in our lives.
They loved us very much and always showed it and we loved them both.
May you Rest In Peace Uncle Mike.
I was hounered to meet Mike so sorry for your loss . A funny man that enjoyed life
We will miss you Uncle Mike. Say hi to Auntie Vi, my mom and dad. Rest in peace. You deserve it.

On behalf of the Toronto and York Division of the Canadian Railroad Historical Association of which I am a Director, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Michael Tibando. Mike was the Show Co-ordinator for several years, of the Toronto Model Railway Show which our organization sponsored for 29 years each March in various locations across the city, as well as operating a hobby shop on Yonge Street with his wife, Violet. He was a real force in the rail enthusiast community and was well-respected by all those who were privileged to know him. He will be sorely missed.
May he rest in peace.
We have so many great memories of Uncle Mike. I will really miss him … it seemed like he was invincible. I can only imagine the beautiful reunion he and Aunt Violet are having. 💙
