It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Michele Provenzano Lombardi who passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

Born on February 2, 1944, in Roggiano Gravina, in the province of Cosenza, Italy, he immigrated to Canada in 1959,  beginning a new chapter of life with his parents, Rodolfo and Antonietta Lombardi. With determination and dedication, he pursued his education and graduated from Devry School of Technology, going on to work as a respected electronic  engineer.

He was married to the love of his life, Adriana Lombardi, for 53 wonderful years. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, and resilience. He was a devoted father to Antonietta and Rodolfo Lombardi, and a proud Nonno to his cherished granddaughter, Ava Adriana Byrne.

He was known for his warm smile, quiet strength, and unwavering pride in his family. A caring man through and through, he placed those he loved above all else. Whether it was offering support, a good story, a pinch on the cheek or simply his presence, he made everyone around him feel seen and valued.

He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, kindness, and love—qualities that will live on in those who knew and loved him.
He will be forever missed and always remembered.
