Michelle passed peacefully at Toronto General Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with Cancer. She faced her illness and fought it bravely as she did all adversity in her life. Beloved wife of Michael, who stood by her side and supported her every day of her journey. Caring and devoted mother to Madison & Matthew whom she loved with all her heart. Loyal and faithful daughter to Paul and Liz Meraw, and cherished by her loving sister and best friend Krista (Chris). Michelle will be dearly missed in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

I was just telling my husband a funny memory from my days with Michelle at Trent when we were floor mates. It felt like yesterday, and I always meant to reconnect with her. It sounds like she lived her life the way I remember her, full of fun and fierce love for her family. Rest In Peace, Michelle. Condolences for a bright spark gone too soon.
