Born on May 8, 1932, Miguel Dumon Ballesteros, Sr. (Mike) lived a long, full, and deeply meaningful life, passing away peacefully at the age of 98. He was a man of quiet strength, unwavering love, and deep devotion to his family.

His love extended far beyond, embracing Mica, Roxanne, Caron, and Sandra, who held a special place in his heart. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Mae, Jennifer, Ian, Ryan, Jordan, Rachael, Brandon, Michael, Cassidy, Jason, Curtis, Sabrina, Ishan, MJ, Eric and Abby; each of whom carries a piece of his legacy. His joy multiplied even further with his great-grandchildren Samson, Solomon, Austin, Ezekiel, Avery, Solomon, Calista, Aria and Zarina; who brought light and happiness into his later years.

He was a skilled and dedicated Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineer whose work reflected both intelligence and quiet perseverance. He had a natural ability to understand how things worked, often solving complex problems with patience and precision. Whether he was
designing, fixing, or improving machinery, he approached every task with care and pride, earning the respect of those around him. His career was not just a profession, but a reflection of his character—reliable, thoughtful, and hardworking. Even beyond his work, that same steady strength and wisdom carried into his role as a father and
grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, knowledge, and love. He will be remembered for his vibrant personality and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. He had a
fondness for visiting the casino, loved going out to eat and sharing meals with family and friends. He enjoyed good food, but even more, he treasured the time spent together, filled with laughter and conversation. Those simple moments around the table meant the most to him and created memories that will always be cherished. Furthermore, he enjoyed ballroom dancing with his wife Sally and had a lifelong interest in cars. These passions reflected his spirited nature and love of connection and enjoyment. He was known for his wisdom, gentle presence, and the way he made everyone feel safe and cared for. Hence, he was not just a grandfather, but a
second father—someone who guided, supported, and loved unconditionally.
