The family announces with sorrow his peaceful passing at home on August 29, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 54 year to Henryka. Loving father of Derek, Jacek, and Agnes. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Julia, Amelia, Isabella, and Cristian. He will be sadly missed by his brother Stanislaw and his sister Maryla. He will be fondly remembered by his many extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Husband,father, uncle, brother, grandfather and friend.
Mirek was a kind, loving and warm hearted man. Behind this great man were great people: a loving family, a devoted wife and heaps of great close friends. With his witty sense of humour and great charm it was easy for him to always be the life of the party, telling one good story after another. He enjoyed outdoor walks, trips to his daughter’s trailer, evening barbecues with family and friends. Also, his love for his grandchildren did not get unnoticed, his time with each and every one of them was a blessing in his life. The laughs, jokes, warm cuddles will be missed but never forgotten. While our hearts are broken and our tears won’t stop, we know that you are now with God in heaven and we shall one day meet again. Rest In Peace!
