Born in Biccari, Italy, Modestino came to Canada as a young man and built a life here with pride in his work, his family, and the heritage he carried with him.
He worked as a hairdresser, loved his cars and his country property, and cherished gathering the family for picnics by the pond.
He is survived by his wife, Filippa; his children Salvatore, Antonio (Erika), and Angela (Chad); and his grandchildren Madelaine, Harrison, Aiken, Luca, Emilia, and Siena.
He will be remembered for his humour, his playfulness, and the pride he took in everything he built.
